Certainly some of his supporters in the Republican party are, and I know this firsthand. But while I do vehemently disagree with John McCain on many issues, and his campaign has been very bitter, and dirty, he is not as extreme in nature as the despotic tyrants he was compared with. Misapplying the moniker of fascist, diminishes the severity of actual fascism.
