Common Core Means Corporate Take Over Of Education

http://blogs.edweek.org/teachers/living-in-dialogue/2014/02/paul_horton_why_the_common_cor.html My commentary on the above linked article will be brief , as the article pretty much summed up the issue nicely. Some of my readers might be surprised that anyone on the political left would come out against the common core standards. Isn't public accountability in education a good thing ? But it is not the state implementing academic achievement goals that is my primary objection to this program. Rather it is the pressing of students , and ultimately workers, minds into the mold of  the social system of corporate power that I am against. From a more specifically libertarian Marxist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian_Marxism stand point   , let me quote from the Communist  Manifesto .  "And your education! Is not that also social, and determined by the social conditions under which you educate, by the intervention direct or indirect, of society, by means of schools, &c.? The Communists have not invented the intervention of society in education; they do but seek to alter the character of that intervention, and to rescue education from the influence of the ruling class.
The bourgeois clap-trap about the family and education, about the hallowed co-relation of parents and child, becomes all the more disgusting, the more, by the action of Modern Industry, all the family ties among the proletarians are torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labour."  In other words , the bourgeoisie is attempting to use their corporate workfare state to social engineer state school students into becoming commodities of labor.  The left-libertarian alternative to this would include such things as both free schools https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_school_movement , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchistic_free_school , and homeschooling , including co-operatives http://homeschool.lifetips.com/cat/64324/homeschool-co-op/index.html , http://www.sheknows.com/parenting/articles/1007633/how-to-start-a-homeschool-co-op . Then students will be empowered to freely develop as autonomous persons.  But in the mean time , we libertarians , left and right , should join together across the political aisle  in common opposition to the common core. like all forms of government , we feel that at all levels it should be decentralized. So in respects to public education here in America , there should by and large be community control.

Reaction to Recent Supreme Court Ruling on Same Sex Marriage

http://www.theguardian.com/…/officials-opting-out-of-all-ma…. So my people , what do you all make of this issue ? If anyone wants my opinion , I think that Rep. Ron Paul had the best idea concerning marriage lawhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c18ct2TwmCw. But if the state were to decide it should be involved in such a matter , then my opinion would have been that they should simply issue civil unions , such as exist in France . But the Supreme Court has rendered it's decision , which is it's power to do , given it's judicial review authority http://constitution.laws.com/the-supreme-co…/judicial-review , http://law2.umkc.edu/…/proje…/ftrials/conlaw/judicialrev.htm. I suppose though that if I were a Supreme Court justice , I would not want to even grant this case certiorari  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certiorari#United_States , judging it to be too political in it's scope. But it is still my special particular obligation , as a budding paralegal , to abide by all set precedents , which the Supreme Court has the prestige to make. There will always be legal cases which we will respectively disagree with , rightly , or wrongly , in respects to the verdicts. The only powers which the President , and Congress respectively have to overturn a Supreme Court decision is to amend the constitution , such as how the 13th , and 14th amendments superseded the Dred Scott ruling , or the President can refuse to enforce it , as Andrew Jackson did , in response to Worcester v. Georgia http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/…/worcester-v-georgia-18…

Private Militia Faces Off In Ferguson , Missouri.

http://www.theguardian.com/…/ferguson-protests-police-prote…. What stood out to me in this article was how the police arrested one of the demonstrators for allegedly having a weapon , but did not do anything against the "Oathkeepers" , who seem to be an armed group of vigilantes. I think that this appears to be white privilege in action. No matter how off putting they might be , the police seem to be too intimidated to tackle the ongoing issue of white potential terrorists / insurgents. While blacks , and others deemed to be militants are routinely confronted by armored personnel , be they government agents , or private paramilitary. But let's see what would happen if people of color were to take a page from the Oathkeepers handbook , and form armed organizations themselves. Judging by what had happened with the old Black Panther Partyhttp://www.theroot.com/…/black_panthers_and_gun_control_the… , I expect that the hypocritical discrepancy would be obvious to see.

Blanket Training is Tyrannical Torture

https://homeschoolersanonymous.wordpress.com/…/comment-pag…/ I just recently heard about this tyrannical abuse of parental authority. I just wanted to give my two cents worth. First of all this demonstrates how these cults exalt the reigning household patriarch to a usurped position rivaling that of the Most High God, from a Christian standpoint. It is therefore a type of idolatry http://www.patheos.com/blogs/lovejoyfeminism/2012/08/christian-patriarchy-as-idolatry.html.  In short , by rights, in a Christian home, the father is only authorized to enforce the commandments of the Bible, not to force his own whims upon his unfortunate subjects, under threat of domestic violence. In fact, even Islam, as relatively draconian as it might arguably be said to be, affords greater freedom than such a so called Christian patriarchy. It states, as I pointed out, that the only legitimate authority is in accordance with God's law, and must not establish any statute that exceeds the commands of God http://um-bs.com/…/02/06/what-does-islam-say-about-leaders…/. Furthermore, Islam asserts the rightful duty of a person to stand up against injustice, even against one's own father http://en.islamtoday.net/artshow-264-3195.htm. But one need not convert to Islam in order to invoke divine sanction for a revolution against oppression. As the deist Thomas Jefferson stated, "resistance to tyrants is obedience to God"http://www.monticello.org/site/jefferson/personal-seal , and I've found that even a good number of Christians concur http://www.washingtonsblog.com/…/god-wants-us-challenge-sup…. So I for one shall continue to withstand such oppressive legalism, by any means necessary to counter it, including as a final resort proportional violent force.. My highest obedience is to my conscience. And I'd feel ashamed if I were to be remiss in resisting any unjust figures. As the Christian revolutionary founding father Patrick Henry said, https://www.brainyquote.com/…/quotes/p/patrickhen101580.html. One final quote, this time from a more recent president ,https://www.brainyquote.com/q…/quotes/j/johnfkenn101159.html

The U.S.A. Is Becoming Increasingly Like The D.D.R.

https://www.aclu.org/more-about-suspicious-activity-reporting In an updating of the old red squads https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_squad America is ,as ironic as it might sound, becoming more like a red fascist police state. For example, in The German Democratic Republic (East Germany) , the Stasi kept intelligence files on the people, and encouraged citizens to inform upon persons who might be disloyal to the regime https://consortiumnews.com/2015/02/03/examining-the-stasi-seeing-the-nsa/?print=print . Terrorism Liaison Officers work with fusion centers to target persons of interest to the the surveillance state, and it's secret police forces http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Government_Surveillance_of_Occupy_Movement. As I've posted before in this blog, i strongly suspect that I myself have come to the attention of the Department of Homeland Security, and that fusion centers from Ohio to Pennsylvania have me on file. I've been stopped and confronted by everyone from sheriff deputies in Ohio, to a state trooper in Pennsylvania. So I surmise that either this blog has come to their attention, given it's stated stand point of left-libertarianism/philosophical anarchism, or I keep getting mistaken as being something other than altogether white Caucasian , and therefore I stand out in by in large white bread neighborhoods. Such ethnic profiling would be be particularly pathetic however, since not only is it not an accurate, and legitimate way of identifying potential criminal threats to the community, but also as it turns out from my extensive genealogical research, I am not at all of Native American descent as I had at one time been lead to believe. So while I might look Mediterranean to some people, I'm actually mostly a mixture of German, and Scot-Irish descent, with some Anglo-Norman , just for good measure. :) So the government spooks really tend to mess up. Not only in misidentifying a persons breeding, but also in prematurely tipping off a terror suspect. Fortunately for them, I am not a dangerous enemy of the state, not yet anyway ;) . Oh, and by the way, here is a helpful tip for all my fellow political dissidents, whether of the left, or right. A way to mask your internet searchs from the prying eyes of federal trackers is to use https://duckduckgo.com/ . Search engines such as namely Google collaborate with the secret police. But so far Duck Duck Go does not. So I think that opposition figures from around the world, and not just America ( Salutations my Russian readership :) ) can evade surveillance online.

State Troopers Crack Down on Anti-Fracking Activists

http://www.npr.org/2015/03/01/389598765/fracking-opponents-feel-police-pressure-in-some-drilling-hotspots It seems to me that now of days the state troopers have become more like storm troopers. Whatever happened to free expression, and the right to petition for a redress of grievances? These civil liberties used to be able to be taken for granted as being protected under our constitutional republic. But now, as I've posted before in this blog, our freedom, and privacy is increasingly being eroded by the surveillance state, which has been established under both the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act, and the NDAA. In the supposed interests of suppressing insurgents, and or militant groups, the government is infringing upon the lawful power to peaceably dissent. I am concerned that another civil war might erupt, if things continue to transpire as they have been. But I contend that when in the course of human events the political powers that be infringe upon the just powers of we the people to stand up for what we deem to be our rightful common good, and personal freedom, then the right to revolution is justified. For as our late president, John F. Kennedy stated, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/j/johnfkenn101159.html If the state persists in making concerned citizens out to be terrorists, it may come to find that their concern will turn into a self fulfilled prophecy. We must not be eager to enter into sedition lightly. However we must also be ever vigilant in defending our land, and our liberty from oppressive authority. Preferablely by peaceacle means, and if necessary by forcible means. Ecological health, and political freedom are far too precious to be imperiled by the elite establishment, and it's collaborators in government. Time shall tell very well whom shall ultimately prevail. And in the end, after all is said and done, history shall judge.

Review of Frozen

I just finished watching today the Disney animated film, "Frozen". It's supposedly based upon "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Anderson . http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Snow_Queen. But both I, and other have noticed that it's dissimilar to the before mentioned story. So I was wondering if it might by a mythical analogy to the case of the Marquise de Dampierre. https://prezi.com/c7hguzquo20o/tourettes-syndrome/. Both she, and Elsa, the princess in the movie, lived lives of affluent seclusion due to a congenital abnormality which afflicted them, and of which they had trouble coping with, and controlling. And with the creation of the Michael Vey series of books http://en.m.wikipedia.org/…/Michael_Vey:_The_Prisoner_of_Ce…. I do not think it inconceivable that Disney would try to jump on the band wagon. smile emoticon With that being said, I might just be reading to much into it. Though I do also remember reading a novel called "Icy Sparks". http://www.enotes.com/topics/icy-sparks. So make of that what you will.;)
