Hopes For The 2008 Election

http://www.leftturn.org/?q=node/1176 No matter who you decide to vote for, if any, we can all work to help improve our world. For instance we can build alternative societies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternative_society We can stage demonstrations. And other acts of passive resistance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_resistance. I am not entirely opposed to strategicly voting, as a tactic against the ultra-Right. I'm not going to formally endorse any one candidate. But if you do decide to vote, be informed, and conscientious. And political campaigns are so substitute for direct action. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_action We should not just reform government. We should try to destroy it.
