Germany takes Naziesque stance towards homeschoolershttp://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58751

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58751 This is an outrageously authoritarian policy, reminescent of the Third Reich. Are children primarily the responsibility of the father/mother or the Fatherland. As long as they are learning all of the core subjects, and not being taught anti-social beliefs, like neo-nazism. Children should be allowed to learn however, and wherever they so choose. It's the proper role of parental authority to bring up children, not governmental. It seems to me therefore that Germany has a naziesque mindset that german children, as members of the nation, are the possession of the "volksstadt" (people's state). So I feel that, unless the beforementioned children are being in some way abused, the state should respect there familial sovereignty.
