Missouri May Require Proof of Citizenship Before Registering Voters.
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/12/us/politics/12vote.html The people of Missouri will be voting on a ballot initiative, which if passed would require stingent proof of citizenship, before allowing people to register. I myself feel that anyone with a Social Security number and/or photo I.D. should be allowed to vote. These new requirements would risk disenfranchising potential voters, especially native-americans, whom look like latinos.
