I also found it to be of remarkable interest that the New Zealand government , under Prime Minister Jacinda Arden , has deemed this to be a terrorist attack . Not only because it was carried out by only one or two gunmen , with no known organizational ties , but also because when for example church shooter Dylan Roof carried out his attack , the authorities did not charge him with committing a terrorist act . Seemingly New Zealand has a larger , and some might assert fairer , definition of terrorism , compared to the U.S.A. Obviously , at any rate , this incident was a cowardly atrocity , which even if the particular mosque were preaching extremist doctrine , it still would not be justified, given its unlawful killing of non-combatants . And also , even though I do believe that religious supremacism should be confronted , I likewise feel that to carry out such violent propaganda of the deed against churches which espouse such dominion theology would be unwarranted .
